For anyone who does not wear their kinetic (movement powered) watch every day, watch winders are perfect for storing a watch. A watch winder will hold one or more watches and move them in circular patterns to mimic the human motion to keep the self-winding mechanism working. The gentle rotation keeps the watch wound and ready to wear.

A kinetic watch should be kept wound and running as much as possible to prevent its lubricants from congealing over time, which diminishes their accuracy and damages the watch.

Unlike other watch winders that have one or more fixed programs, this is programmable. Using an easy operated keypad with an LED indicator that also acts as a countdown function, it can be set to wind in a clockwise, anti-clockwise or alternating direction, the winding time can be set from 1 to 9 minutes, and the rest time between between winding operations can be set for between 5 and 195 minutes. This winder turns at approximately 7 turns per minute - so, for example, for 800 turns per day you might set it to wind for 5 minutes and rest for 55 minutes or for 650 turns per day you might set it to wind for 4 minutes and rest for 60 minutes. It can be set for anything between 51 and 6480 turns per day !

This watch winder measures: 250 x 185 x 215 mm (L x W x H). The removable, adjustable, soft two piece watch holders will to take a maximum watch strap width of 30mm and circumference of 190mm. An outer sleeve can be removed and it can be compressed to hold a strap circumference as small as 150mm. There is lots of space inside for a good sized chunky mans watch with plenty of clearance between the turntable and cover, and 15mm between the watch pillows.

Please check that the programs are suitable for your watch. Two watches of similar weights should be placed on the turntable. Also note that no watch winder (even the most expensive brands) is completely silent, as they have a turntable and motor. They will often start of silent and get slightly noisier. Our winders are actually quieter than some of the top / more expensive brands. Any watches in the pictures are not included.

Delivery

We aim to ship all goods using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or ParcelForce24 within one business day of cleared payment. If you order and pay by 12:00 we will normally ship the same day (unlike foreign suppliers, where your goods arrive 10 - 21 business days - or up to a month - later). Tracking information will be e-mailed to you as soon as your item is shipped.

Please note: We prefer not to ship to business addresses and will never ship to an unconfirmed business address.

If any of the contents appear to be damaged, the package must be signed for as 'damaged' and we must be notified immediately. Failure to do so will invalidate shipping insurance claims and we will not be liable for the damage.

Returns

All items are brand new. We have a 7 day 'no quibble' returns policy. Goods returned within 7 days in the original condition and packaging may be refunded, however customers are liable for all delivery charges to and from our address. This policy also applies to customers who order one type (black or wood) but want the other. We will exchange the winder, but the customer will be asked to pay the postage each way and any difference in price.

An item should never be returned to us without prior authorisation. Please contact us. A full payment minus the delivery charges will be refunded after we have received and inspected the returned item.

Warranty

We offer a limited return to base warranty. All items can be replaced at any time within 30 days of purchase should a fault develop. We will refund your postage cost once we have received it back. We will then return the item to you at our cost. Outside of this period, should a fault occur, we will help you resolve it. If repairs are necessary, we ask customers to pay for postage and for spare parts. We do not charge for labour.
