For anyone who does not wear their kinetic (movement powered) watch every day, or has more than one, watch winders are perfect for storing a watch. A watch winder will move the watch in patterns to mimic the human motion to keep the self-winding mechanism working. The gentle movement keeps the watch wound and ready to wear.

A kinetic watch should be kept wound and running as much as possible to prevent its lubricants from congealing over time, which diminishes their accuracy and damages the watch. This stylish mains or battery watch winder offers the best of both worlds. You can have it on display, put it in a safe, or alternate between the two.

This beautiful and very stylish single watch winder has a stainless-steel drum sat on a carbon fibre platform, piano black base and an attractive formed acrylic dust cover to protect the watch. An ironless core Swiss micromotor is concealed within one of the two ball-bearing fitted stainless steel support rollers. Seated on these rollers is a rotating plastic lined stainless steel hollow cylinder into which the watch is mounted on elastomeric self-conforming cushions. There is no metal-to-metal contact as the drive rollers are equipped with nitrile rubber tires at both ends.

The Orbita Futura has two winding speeds (800 and 1300 turns per day) and the winding direction can be changed by reversing base plate. It can be powered using four 'C' cell batteries (not included) or AC Adapter (included). Like all of our products, it is brand new and in its original packaging.

Program settings: Simplicity of programming for winding turns per day (TPD) is a feature of this watch winder. It has ON / OFF and HI / LO switches on the base plate. The HI setting provides 1300 TPD and the LO setting 800 TPD. Clockwise or counter clockwise watch rotation is easily achieved by reversing the base plate 180 degrees. A blinking LED light signals when batteries need to be replaced.

The display measures: 140 x 140 x 175 mm (L x W x H). The removable, adjustable watch holder has a circumference of 210mm. It can be compressed to hold a strap circumference much smaller.

Delivery

We aim to ship all goods using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or ParcelForce24 within one business day of cleared payment. If you order and pay by 12:00 we will normally ship the same day (unlike foreign suppliers, where your goods arrive 10 - 21 business days - or up to a month - later). Tracking information will be e-mailed to you as soon as your item is shipped.

Please note: We prefer not to ship to business addresses and will never ship to an unconfirmed business address.

If any of the contents appear to be damaged, the package must be signed for as 'damaged' and we must be notified immediately. Failure to do so will invalidate shipping insurance claims and we will not be liable for the damage.

Returns

All items are brand new. We have a 7 day 'no quibble' returns policy. Goods returned within 7 days in the original condition and packaging may be refunded, however customers are liable for all delivery charges to and from our address.

An item should never be returned to us without prior authorisation. Please contact us. A full payment minus the delivery charges will be refunded after we have received and inspected the returned item.
